Toyota Maintains World Number One Position in Global Forklift Rankings

The Toyota Material Handling Group (TMHG) – a division of Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO) – has once again maintained its Number One Global position in the dhf Intralogistik magazine Global Forklift rankings. For the reporting year 2021/2022, Toyota reported a strong increase in net sales of 2,118.3 billion to 2,705.2billion (Yen). In euros, this translated to net sales of 17,385million euros to 20.828 million euros. TMHG's turnover also increased, reaching 1,431.4billion (Yen) to 1,789.4billion (Yen) being the equivalent of 11,748million euros to 13,778million euros. 

The KION Group (Linde forklifts) remains ranked No. 2 in the world. Overall, the KION Group's net revenue in 2021 compared with 2020 was 8.342million euros to 10,294million euros. At 12,481.6million euros, order intake in 2021 was 9,442.5million euros compared with the previous year.

Jungheinrich AG reported rising revenues from 3,809million euros (2020) to 4,240million euros (2021). In the 2021 reporting year, the "Intralogistics" segment increased by 3,811million euros (2020) to 4,251million euros (2021) and the "Financial Services" segment increased from 1,121million euros (2020) to 1,132million euros (2021). Jungheinrich's net profit rose from 151million euros (2020) to 267million euros (2021). 

The net sales of Mitsubishi Logisnext Co., Ltd., Kyoto (Japan), in fiscal year 2021/2022 (April 1 to March 31) ultimately reached 465,406million (Yen) after years of growth. In euros there was an increase of 3,213 million euros in 2020/2021 to 3,583million euros.

Crown Equipment Corporation ranks 4th in the world a position it shares with Mitsubishi Logisnext. Crown's net sales in 2021/2022 (April to March) compared to the previous year amounted to 3,620 million to 4,010million (U.S. dollar).

In 2021, the Hyster-Yale Group had achieved net sales of USD 2,897.4million. In the current world rankings, the Hyster-Yale Group has maintained the rank of 6.
