  • Toyota Forklifts Provide a Better Work Environment

The work environment was a top priority in the design of the Toyota 8-Series forklift and it shows, with smoke generation being reduced to an almost undetectable level. The following optional features have been incorporated: a Diesel Particulate Filter which eliminates 100% of black smoke, a 3-Way Catalytic Converter which processes three toxic components of exhaust gases into harmless materials such as CO2, H20 and N2 promises a healthier work environment.

Noise levels have been given equal attention with the 8-Series forklift offering a low-noise package as standard equipment, and adding numerous covers, anti-vibration mechanisms, and silencers to provide a forklift that is welcomed wherever it goes into the workplace.

Toyota has reached an all new level with the release of its Diesel engine for the new big truck range being the material handling industries first common rail diesel.  Built on the principle of ECO cubed, the new diesel engine brings together ease and comfort, economy and ecology with low emission advanced engine series (LEAVES).  This series uses the newly developed J08E-T common-rail diesel engine.  This turbo charged engine provides superb power while generating low noise, low vibration and extremely low harmful exhaust emissions.
